Over time Squeaker will move beyond the limits of Swinburne’s PA building it will become known as a successful and exciting initiative to other design schools and to industry professionals. Squeaker will initially expand to other levels of PA building and will eventually extend past the panel signage to other spaces and medias.
Outside of PA building squeaker will explore extensions to other campus areas, including High Street windows and PU Tower, as well as campus banners, poster panels, the library foyer and cafeteria. There is also the possibility of extending further to Swinburne’s TAFE staff and students.
Permitting the success and content produced by the Squeaker blog it also may be possible to produce a yearly publication, documenting students thought and discussions on design.
A range of medias including motion, three-dimensional and spatial, are also possible future endeavours and will rely on the passion and creativity of the student push Squeaker to new levels.
